The London Structural Biology Club is a network of postgraduates students and researchers within London and the South-East. Members come from a variety of disciplines interested in the general field of Structural Biology. The club brings together academics and research students of all levels for the presentation of new insights and recent advances into the field of Structural Biology.
The Club also provides an opportunity for discussions on an informal basis. At each club meeting, external speakers at senior and postdoctoral levels are invited to present the results of their research. The London Structural Biology Club is helping to inform local groups about mutually important work, in addition to fostering useful collaborations. The Club also aims to provide an informal forum for scientists at all levels interested in the application of structural biology techniques in the medical or biological fields. The meetings have continued to be extremely popular, with meetings attracting up to 150 attendees from structural biology groups throughout London and the South-East.
Meetings are free, are held approximately once per term and are followed by an informal beer and pizza gathering. If you would like to join please contact the Institute of Structural Molecular Biology Administrator . There is no membership fee.
